Didriks is an independent locally owned business that first opened its doors in 2004, on Observatory Hill in Cambridge. Situated just northwest of Harvard Square on Concord Avenue, Didriks showcases fine outdoor furniture, tableware and home decor products by U.S. and European brands. Items are selected for design, quality, and functionality.
Outdoor furniture by Barlow Tyrie is a prominent part of Didriks’ business, and we carry the entire line of teak, metal and woven furniture by this prominent British maker.
At Didriks you will find distinctive dinnerware and glassware and home furnishings from Simon Pearce, Chilewich, Alessi, Match Pewter, Berti Knives, Libeco Home Belgian Linen, Rorstrand, David Mellor Flatware, Kosta Boda, Pillivuyt, iittala, Jars Ceramics, Schott Zwiesel, Sabre Paris, Royal Copenhagen, and more.
The Didriks tabletop collection spans many tastes and styles and can fulfill any need for dinnerware, glassware, flatware or tabletop accoutrements. Didriks staff members have an eye for design and are delighted to help customers create a special tablescape or interior.
With the introduction of their sister store Local Root in the fall of 2012, Didriks expanded its collection of cookware to include a wide array of kitchenwares, bakeware, and other cooking supplies.
In 2014 Didriks opened a third location at the Mill at Newton Lower Falls which houses both Didriks and Local Root and features tabletop, decor, and kitchen products.
