All Chilewich items are soap-and-water washable.

"Tablemats: Please follow these easy care instructions for maintaining your woven vinyl Chilewich tablemats.
- Be sure to store Chilewich tablemats FLAT. Do not fold or allow them to crease.
- Chilewich tablemats clean easily with soap and water. A damp cloth or a sponge is all that is necessary. PLEASE NOTE: We do not recommend dishwasher use."

Also, at Didriks, we recommend you NOT use Chilewich tablemats or runners at trivets. They can melt.

If you MUST run your mats through the dishwasher, place them in the top rack ONLY, FLAT, with the Extra Hot Water feature turned OFF. Turn OFF the heat-dry cycle, and remove and let them cool and air dry FLAT immediately after the last rinse. Once cooled, they can be wiped dry with a cloth.

PLYNYL Floormats can be swept, vacuumed, sponge-mopped, and in the worst instances, taken in to the tub or out back to spray with a hose. You can use a non-abrasive bleach-based cleaner with a nylon brush in the event of stains. Be sure to air dry FLAT.

Shag Vinyl Floormats are a snap. They can be vacuumed, hosed off, soaked in the tub or even knocked against a surface to loosen debris. They are extremely rugged.

Handbags and Totes. Since you often put a bag places you would not even sit, you'll love that you can clean and sanitize your Chilewich bag or tote! They may be cleaned with soap or a bleach based disinfecting liquid in the sink, for great looks and peace of mind!
