How to Wash Chilewich Placemats and Floor Mats?

Chilewich Placemats and Table Runners
Store flat - Do not fold or allow to crease.
Protect from hot objects with a trivet.
Chilewich placemats are NOT dishwasher or machine washable
How to clean Chilewich Placemats:
Woven style Chilewich Placemats - Wipe clean with mild soap and water, rinse and allow to air dry. Remove stubborn stains with soft bristle brush and bleach-based cleanser. Do not scrub aggressively. How to remove tomato sauce stains: Clean immediately as described before stain can set.
Non-woven style washable placemats - Avoid rough sponges or brushes, harsh soaps and chemicals, especially those containing bleach, ammonia and household alcohol. Clean with warm water, mild soap and soft sponge. Rinse and air dry. Sanitize with white vinegar and lint-free cloth.

Chilewich Rugs and Woven Floor Mats
Shag Indoor/Outdoor Chilewich Rugs:
Vacuum, shake out or hose off to clean.
Hang to dry.
To avoid discoloration, do not lay over rubber floors or place rubber objects atop Chilewich mats.
Occasionally lift, move or air out Chilewich rugs to avoid mold buildup on floors, which may not be mold-resistant the way Chilewich utility mats are.

How to Clean Chilewich Flooring?
How to clean Chilewich Woven Floor Mats:
Do not iron or machine wash.
Avoid rubber casters or other rubber objects under or on top of Chilewich mats.
Roll to store with weave facing outward.
Indoor use: Vacuum loose dirt, immediately blot spills with lint-free cloth. Wet mop the surface or clean with residential carpet cleaner when needed. Lift mat and allow both backing and face to air dry completely before replacing on floor. Clean stubborn stains with soft-bristle brush and bleach-based cleaner.
Outdoor use: Best suited to dry surfaces. Chilewich rugs will absorb water, then allow it to evaporate. Air out occasionally by turning rug over. Though made with fade-resistant materials and technology, protracted sun exposure will fade Chilewich mats.

Napkins, Napkin Rings and Coasters
Chilewich napkins may be machine washed in warm water, dried flat and pressed with a warm iron while slightly damp.
How to wash Chilewich tabletop accessories: Do not clean Chilewich napkin rings or coasters in dishwasher or washing machine.
Wipe with water, mild soap and soft sponge. Rinse and air dry.
Avoid bleach, ammonia, rubbing alcohol and other harsh chemicals.
Sanitize metallic elements with white vinegar and lint-free cloth.
Do not soak for long periods in hot water.
