Mepra

Mepra brings three generations of Italian tradition into every piece while continuing to put an emphasis on innovation and new designs. Mepra flatware experiments with color and form, and prides itself on being able to offer a cutlery set just right for your taste and tablescape. In addition to striking beauty and modern flavor, Mepra stainless steel flatware also puts an emphasis on quality, both in the quality of materials and the quality of the crafting process.

The History of Mepra Italian Flatware
Even though the Mepra brand was established in 1947, the design and entrepreneurship traits in the Prandelli family stretch to the beginning of the 20th century. In 1901, Francesco, Bortolo, and Giovanbattista Prandelli created the company “Prandelli," eventually leading to Mepra's founding by Giovanbattista's sons in 1947. After primarily utilizing brass to create Mepra cutlery in the early years, the switch to stainless steel began in 1950, and by 1953, the entire Mepra silverware selection was crafted from stainless steel. As time has progressed, however, Mepra has continued to craft new designs and improve on past collections, ensuring excellent application and effortless artistry in each Mepra tableware piece.

Mepra Fantasia Flatware Collection
In the well-known Mepra Fantasia collection, splashes of color meet practical shapes, resulting in cutlery that satisfies the standard for everyday usage. Combined with remarkable durability, the Mepra Fantasia flatware collection is stylish, perfect for a modern, colorful home. Fantasia flatware pieces are available in many colors, so your Fantasia flatware can finish a poppy tablescape just as it can perfect a humbly traditional tablescape. The Fantasia collection is excellent when paired with Italian Alessi dinnerware and Iittala glassware, giving a table setting that is both functional and timelessly modern.
