This cowbell shaped grater is ideal for hard cheeses like parmesan and pecorino thanks to its aggressive shredding design: small round holes with sharp, protruding edges tear at food rather than sclicing, ensuring that hard cheeses are reduced to a fine, almost powdery consistency for even sprinkling or incorporation into sauce.
