Tonale

The Alessi Tonale Dinnerware Collection was designed by architect David Chipperfield, who drew inspiration from Korean, Japanese and Chinese ceramics to create it. The name Tonale refers to the use of color tonality by Italian painter Giorgio Morandi, who is known for using color to impart a sense of individuality to his pieces. The dinnerware collection is meant to be durable and versatile, while still possessing an "expressive purity" of design. This line includes an assortment of pieces including plates, bowls, glasses, carafes and mugs, all made in a variety of materials.
