Mon Amie Dessert Plate
One rainy midsummer in the late 1940s, Marianne Westman sat sketching a white Labrador tea flower. Later, after graduating from Stockholm’s University College of Arts, Crafts & Design, she used that sketch as the springboard for an outstanding design career. Her first service was launched as Mon Amie in 1952, by which time the flowers had acquired a cobalt blue nuance. To celebrate Marianne’s 80th birthday, Mon Amie was updated and relaunched in 2008 – a shining example of a true Rörstrand classic.
