The Savon du Chef Steel Soap uses a convenient chemical reaction to remove onion and garlic smell from your hands: just rub your hands on the steel under hot running water to make the irritating sulphur compounds from onion, garlic, or shallot react with iron in the steel, neutralizing their odor.
