The oval boards have a rough, soy stained edge and an oval shape. They make wonderful cutting boards and beautiful displays for breads, cheeses and charcuterie. The oval boards are made out of spalted maple wood. Maple wood is characterized by a smooth grain and unique light color. Peterman upcycle fallen maple trees that are in the early stages of decomposition to get remarkable spalted lines running throughout the wood.
